Janet holds a BFA from Kansas State University, an MA from St. John’s College, and an MDiv from Sophia Divinity School. In her travels and transformations, Janet gathered several professions. Along with writer, teacher, and clergy, she’s a spiritual healer and mentor and a gifted intuitive. She’s also a sometimes actor and in 2008, her most recent movie, Hope, went to the Cannes Film Festival. She writes creative nonfiction and poetry. Both have appeared in a variety of small press publications.

She recently completed a spiritual memoir, Standing at the Crossroad and is at work on two other creative nonfiction memoirs, one about returning to her Kansas roots, Kansas Chronicles, and the second about the need and search for a feminine face to God, Finding the Feminine Face of God.
